The child is Chinese and can communicate well in Mandarin, but currently speaks very little English.
The main goal is to help her learn practical, everyday English through natural interaction in a relaxed, patient, and fun environment, rather than formal academic lessons. We would like the tutor to:
• Teach basic everyday English and common phrases used at preschool
• Communicate with her in English during play and daily activities
• Use drawing, arts and crafts, games, picture books, and other interactive activities to encourage English communication
• Help her learn how to express her needs, feelings, and ideas in simple English
• Gradually build her confidence in understanding and speaking English
Available weekday afternoons, 12m or 1pm onwards.
