Volunteer as a Tutor with Children's Cancer Foundation

CCF Volunteer Tutor Programme

The aim of this programme is to provide tuition to a CCF beneficiary or sibling who comes from a lower-income family, to alleviate their anxiety over academic demands and keep up with their studies or school work.

Volunteer Requirements

• 18 years old and above.
• Commitment to 1.5 to 2 hours a week, for a minimum of 1 academic year.
• Full vaccination clearance for in-person volunteering where stated. Volunteers can receive vaccinations through CCF’s Health Service Provider, and can be reimbursed upon meeting attendance criteria.
• Vaccinations required: Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR), Chicken Pox, Pertussis and COVID-19
• Up-to-date with the MOE-syllabus, and able to create/source for suitable teaching resources.
• Passionate in teaching children and empathetic/understanding to their challenges faced.
