Volunteer as a Tutor with Children's Cancer Foundation
CCF Volunteer Tutor Programme
The aim of this programme is to provide tuition to a CCF beneficiary or sibling who comes from a lower-income family, to alleviate their anxiety over academic demands and keep up with their studies or school work.
Volunteer Requirements
- 18 years old and above.
- Commitment to 1.5 to 2 hours a week, for a minimum of 1 academic year.
- Full vaccination clearance for in-person volunteering where stated. Volunteers can receive vaccinations through CCF's Health Service Provider, and can be reimbursed upon meeting attendance criteria.
- Vaccinations required: Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR), Chicken Pox, Pertussis and COVID-19.
- Up-to-date with the MOE syllabus, and able to create or source suitable teaching resources.
- Passionate in teaching children and empathetic to the challenges they face.
