The Science Programme at Elevate is all crafted in-house by a team of experience teachers and consultants. As per all of our programmes, we place very strong emphasis on strong foundations and intensive practice. Science practices are multi-level so that students are able to learn at their own pace, not compromising on their foundational work. Concepts are also delivered using multimedia & demonstrations, encouraging learning beyond the textbooks, bringing Science to life.

Physics- the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. As per the other branches of science, at the upper secondary level students will be exposed to the extension of some topics that were already taught and also new topics such as electromagnetism and kinematics.

Students are often afraid when approaching Chemistry at the upper secondary levels, but at Elevate we will introduce chemistry as an extension of what the students have already learnt in lower secondary. Students with be equipped with the foundation of integrating new information with those they have already learnt prior.

Lesson Costs:
$250 for 4 lessons of 2 hrs each.

Material Costs:
Worksheets, books, exam practice papers that are used during lessons are included.

Trial Lessons:
2 free trial classes available per student (max 1 per subject).

Payment:
Students are required to sign up to a monthly package for 1 lesson per week.
First payment is to be made upon enrolment (pro-rated if student joins in the middle of the month). Subsequent payments are to be made by first day of every month.

Rescheduling:
Students are encouraged to attend their scheduled classes consistently. If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class, he/she is required to give at least 2 days advance notice to the teacher and reschedule a make-up class for the same subject. This can be changed via a mobile application that the student will be required to download upon enrolment. Students will need to make up classes during the same week of their original class.

Classes falling on a public holiday will remain as scheduled, unless otherwise advised by the tutor. In the event of any change, the tutor will give at least 1 week notice in advance to the students.

Cancellation:
There will be no refund of fees for late notice or class cancellations, regardless of the reason for absence, with less than 2 days of advance notice.
