Looking for experienced O Level tuition teachers?

O-levels are a crucial checkpoint — for students aiming for JC, Poly, or simply trying to keep options open. But the syllabus is dense, the questions are tough, and many students struggle to convert effort into results. If your teen

  • has been underperforming or barely scraping through in key subjects,
  • understands the content but just can't score in the exams,
  • struggles with written expression, application questions, or exam time pressure, or
  • needs someone to explain patiently and rebuild their confidence,

1-to-1 O-level tuition gives them the structure, feedback, and personal attention they need to perform at their best.

Start Tuition sources from more than 15,000 teachers, ex-teachers, full-time tutors, undergraduate tutors to find someone who suits your requirements and budget. No obligations.

Ms. Rachel has just finished her last lesson with my son, who will be taking his English O-level exams tomorrow. Just wanted to share that she was an excellent teacher who took time to give comprehensive feedback for each component of the papers, and detailed recommendations on what to focus on. Her lessons were engaging and very helpful not just in teaching my son answering techniques, but also giving him the confidence that he would be able to manage the exams. She was beyond an answered prayer and we are so thankful for her!

My child has been failing and not motivated at all — is it too late for tuition to help?

Not at all. Many students only start improving when they get personal attention and lessons that match their pace. With consistent support, even a few months can make a big difference.

With an encouraging tutor, learning can be reframed as achievable, difficult topics that seems unmanaged can be reorganised and broken down to simpler, logical parts, and help your teen feel capable again. Confidence often comes before motivation.

What if my child is weak in more than one subject? Can the tutor teach more than 1 subject?

Yes. You can opt for separate tutors who specialise in their respective pet subjects, or, group them into common combinations.

At Secondary school level and above, many tutors specialise in specific combinations, like Maths+Sciences, English+Humanities, English+Maths. There are also groups of tutors who take up combinations different from the above, though these are in smaller numbers. Please check with us on those.

What is the mimimum commitment for lessons?

In terms of lesson schedule, depending on how much time the student needs for each subject, the tutor may over for once per week or twice per week. Most O Level tutors usually require minimum 1.5 hrs per lesson, to maximise the effectiveness per session. The minimum duration can sometimes be shortened, especially for students with learning needs. This can be discussed with the agent when sharing your requirements.
